A business case competition is a competition that helps gain and strengthen the skills essential for youth as they enter the world of business. At Prosper, we aim to develop these important skills, such as critical thinking and public speaking, that are needed to guarantee success in your future careers. Our mission is to engage youth in the business world through workshops, panels of industry professionals, and case competitions. Whether you are interested in accounting, marketing, finance, or business in general, our conference has an array of activities for everyone. We recognize that each individual is unique and has different interests, so that is why we incorporate the whole package and you can get a taste of all that business can offer at Prosper.
A laptop, a charger for your laptop, something to take notes with, water to stay hydrated, Business Formal attire, presentation clicker (optional), and the proper A/V adapters (most presentation rooms use VGA and HDMI for display input).
Any incomplete teams or individual attendees will be paired together by the Prosper team before the conference, so having a complete team is not a requirement for participation.
We will release pre-conference materials that will allow beginners to familiarize themselves with the case competition and conference's formats while experienced competitors can refresh their knowledge. This includes an Introduction to Case Competition guide and other useful materials. Otherwise, no extra preparation is necessary.
